Campus Compass

CHALLENGE: Develop a series of wayfinding icons, logo, and layout for a visual information system to help new and prospective students find key resources and services around the campus at Chemeketa Community College.

SOLUTION: I developed a unified set of 10 wayfinding icons using the Chemeketa color palette. I wanted the icons to have a soft and friendly appearance so I rounded the edges and kept the strokes light. I kept the logo simple and in the same style to create unity with the icon set. Thinking about the user experience, I separated the icons into three categories so users could quickly find what they were looking for.
