Commencement Cover

Chemeketa Community College needed a front and back cover design for their 69th Commencement Ceremony program.

Because the program would serve as a keepsake for many graduating students, I chose to create a hand-crafted watercolor illustration to give the piece a personal, celebratory feel. To reinforce the theme of graduation, I designed the illustration to interact with the typography by placing a graduation cap on top of the “2” in “2025.”

The final design balanced a festive tone with a commemorative quality and was selected by the client for production.
