Commencement Cover

CHALLENGE: Design a front and back cover for the 69th Commencement Ceremony program at Chemeketa Community College.

SOLUTION: The client stressed that the program would be a keepsake for many students, so I decided to make it look very hand-crafted by doing a watercolor illustration. I wanted to keep the mood celebratory and fun so I had the illustration interact with the type by placing a cap on the top of the two. This design was selected by the client.
