Escape Fiction Website

Escape Fiction, a local bookstore specializing in science fiction and fantasy, needed a website redesign that emphasized clear hierarchy and intuitive information architecture.

I began with competitor research and mapped out the site’s information structure. From there, I sketched thumbnails and developed a wireframe for the homepage to ensure a user-friendly experience. The bookstore also needed a new logo, so I designed one that was fun and whimsical, evoking the sense of embarking on a literary journey.

The color palette drew inspiration from vintage science fiction posters, reflecting the store’s genre focus. To further expand the brand, I designed a line of merchandise that extended the bookstore’s identity beyond the website.
