Melted Food Truck

CHALLENGE: Create a logo for a new food truck and apply the branding to the truck. The food truck's name was Melted. It was a hot chocolate food truck located in Sisters, Oregon.

SOLUTION: When I was doing my research, I found that Sisters is a self-described “1880’s western-themed town”. As a result, I wanted my logo to be something that was timeless and had a nod back to historical type and western signs. I chose to use a strong serif typeface and paired it with an M that was meant to look very roughly like a mug with the curl of the M being a handle. Overall, I wanted the branding to feel upscale, but still approachable and fun.
